About

I am an information scientist stemming from Kiel, a lovely coastal town in the very north of Germany. After obtaining a master’s degree in information systems in 2016, I started as a research assistant and PhD candidate at the ZBW – Leibniz Information Centre for Economics. In 2022, I obtained a doctoral degree in Computer Science at Kiel University. Here I now work as a postdoctoral researcher and lecturer in the Web Science research group under supervision of Prof. Dr. Isabella Peters.

My research focuses on ways of quantifying scientific impact as well as on interdependencies between such impact measures and science communication. Outside of the world of science I have a passion for cinema, music (especially the kind featuring heavy guitars), music production (preferably utilizing said heavy guitars), as well as board games.
